At Karavan 2012 in Brisbane a few months ago, mojokingbee worked some digital TRON magic on the likenesses of Barksdale Brass Band, Baro Banda, Mouldy Lovers, and Mzaza. At first, I wrote this off as a simple figure study with pretty colors, but the more I looked at it, the more I could feel the music popping out of the picture with technicolor electricity. It’s like I was really there, much cheaper than buying a ticket and flying to Australia!
